Zapier Integration

Overview

Zapier allows you to connect Duda to the different services on Zapier to create automated events. For example, you can send a Slack message when a new comment is added to a site or update Salesforce when a form is submitted on a Duda site.

This is done by creating Zaps. Zaps consist of a trigger and an action. Duda can be used as both. The options are:

Trigger:

  • New or Updated Site Comment
  • New Form Response

Action:

  • Update Content Library
  • Add Collection Row
  • Publish Post
The Zapier integration is available for Agency and Enterprise plans.

Create a Zap

To create a Zap, do the following:

  1. Navigate to the Duda page in Zapier.
  2. Sign up or login to your Zapier account.
  3. Click Accept Invite and Build a Zap.
  4. Search and select the trigger under When This Happens...
  5. Search and select the action under ...Do This!
  6. Click Make this Zap.
  7. Enter any additional information needed for your Zap, including your Duda API credentials.
  8. (Optional) Test your Zap.
  9. Click Turn Zap On.

Note: Your Duda API credentials can be found under White Label > API Access. Your API username is different than your Duda account username.

Considerations

  • When using forms in your Zap, make sure the form you want to use has at least one response, otherwise you won't be able to select it in Zapier.
  • You can customize messages (such as your Slack message) by adding fields from the Duda Zapier integration:

  • You can also map form fields to rows in your spreadsheet or CRM using the Duda Zapier integration:

    Hi guys, have been playing with the Duda - Zapier integration. It is really easy to use. I managed to get a Contact Us form content into Zoho in 15 minutes. 

    Small request. After I changed the Contact Us form, it appears that Zapier doesn't get the changes back, even though I submitted multiple Contact Us form with the new data structure. I tried to refresh at the Zapier end, it does its 3 minutes check thing, but still remains on the old structure.

    Hi Phil - Great, thanks for the feedback!

    Here is what you need to do:

    1. First make the changes to your site and republish
    2. Go to the live site and submit a new form response using the new structure
    3. Got to Zapier and edit your Zap - first click on "Test this Step" - you should see a new sample, if not, you can click on "Get More samples." You should see new responses there.
    4. With the new sample selected, you can edit the action and use the new fields to do new mapping.
