Overview

Export tools in StoreFront allow you to download your products in a CSV file. You may want to use this if you need to get your store data in a table format for importing to 3rd party systems or for editing your store products in mass in a spreadsheet editor etc. Currently, StoreFront allows export of orders, products and customers.

Export CSV file specification can be found here. For examples of the export tool usage and for description of the other StoreFront's Import/Export features, please refer to this article: Import-Export.

Please note: Export is only available for the 2500 Product store.

How to export products

  • Open the products listing page in your control panel: Catalog → Products.
  • If you need to export all your products, click the 'Export All' button in the bottom of list. It is also possible to export just a part of your inventory matching some criteria - use the filters in the column headers or use the product search field on the top right and then click "Export all found".
  • In the export settings dialog, select the delimiter and the columns you want in the file and click 'Download CSV file'.
  • Save the CSV file to your computer.

  • If you need to export all your customers, click the 'Export All' button in the bottom of list. If you want to export just a part of the list matching some criteria - use the filters in the column headers and then click "Export all found". It is also possible to tick the customers you want to export and click 'Export selected'.
  • In the export settings dialog, select delimiter (what is it?) and the columns you want to get in a file and click 'Download CSV file'.
  • Save the CSV file to your computer.

FAQ

What is the Product ID column I see in my export?

Product ID is a unique global identifier of a product, internal to StoreFront. For example, StoreFront uses it in product URLs. You cannot import a product ID or change it to a value you like.
